Thunderbird - Set default calendar
Changing the default calendar for new events in Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Preferences > General > click "Config Editor" button.
- In the "Filter:" box enter
calendar.registry
- Find a
.calendar-main-default
key β it will be set to true - Other calendars either wonβt have a
.calendar-main-default
key (or it will be set to false) - Set the value of the
.calendar-main-default
key that goes with the calendar that currently shows up by default in new events to false - Go to the .calendar-main-in-composite key that goes with the calendar you want as default and copy the name
- Filter by this key and change it to
...calendar-main-default
- Create a new key by this name with the type "Boolean" and the value
true
- Now exit out of Thunderbird and restart
